Easter Craiglockhart Hill is a special place. There are woods and meadows and cliffs and marsh and a pond. 35 acres of peace, serenity and loveliness in the heart of a busy bustling city.
Explore The Hill
Come and explore Easter Craiglockhart Hill. Bring your dog, your family and your friends. Stroll on level paths around the pond and the lower woods or climb to the very top up steep paths. The hill is only 525 feet high but the views across the city, the Pentlands and the Firth of Forth are magnificent.
Think of Easter Craiglockhart Hill as a ‘Green Gym’ where you can walk, run or cycle, and breathe clean fresh air.
Say hello to our resident swans and look out for buzzards, tawny owls, woodpeckers and kingfishers. Foxes, badgers and roe deer also live on the hill.
