Join us for an exciting and informative bat walk on Easter Craiglockhart Hill.
Big thanks to Graeme Wilson, Ecologist & Wildlife Educator, who will be leading the walk and sharing his extensive knowledge of bats.
Graeme will first give us a short talk on these amazing flying mammals. Then we will walk the woods with bat detectors, to listen out for bat calls and identify different species.
The bat walk will take place on Saturday 14 September. We’ll meet at the Craiglockhart Terrace entrance to the woods at 7pm.
This event is suitable for all ages. Children are welcome, accompanied by an adult please.
Tickets cost £10 per adult; children go free.
Funds will support Graeme’s animal rescue service in the Borders,
GW Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, plus bat conservation projects on the hill.
Advance booking is required so, to reserve your place, please e-mail us at [email protected].
