Work to improve the path network within Easter Craiglockhart Hill LNR will begin week commencing the 1st of December 2014. It is likely to be from the Tuesday. The work should not take longer than one week to complete. The main contractor is WB McLaren Planthire and Groundworks.
The work comprises of some path surface re-grading, re-pointing of the stone set causeway at the pond, clearing the drainage ditch on the path to the south of the sports centre and the construction of a wooden handrail. Intermittent path closures may be required. There will be additional onsite signage and instruction which should be adhered to. A small compound area will be established on the “old curling rink” for plant and material storage.
